White willow bark extract, Salicin
White willow (biological name: Salix alba L.) is a tree of the Salix family and Salix genus, up to 25 meters high, with a developed crown; the bark is dark gray, deeply fissured; the old branches are glabrous and light brown. It is distributed in Xinjiang, China, and cultivated in Gansu, Qinghai, Tibet and other provinces. It is distributed and introduced in Iran, Pakistan, northern India, Afghanistan, Russia, and Europe. Mostly along the river, can grow at an altitude of 3100 meters.
